BackTalk 2.0 is a free Os/2 speech system. It
includes a robust and responsive multithreaded server interface, volume control,
amplification, sound mute/unmute, queue purge, and a queue status watcher. Also,
supports external programs and REXX.
Instead of just a WAV file saying, "You have received mail", how about
hearing, "You have received mail from NAME, the subject is SUBJECT"?
It was tested with PMMail, Post Road Mailer, MR/2 ICE and Internet Adventurer
You can hear what your friends say on IRC while you type into your word processor
